Solo harpist in the ranks of the legendary Vienna Philharmonic, he shares the stage on this recording with flutist Gaby Pas-Van Riet (who likewise appears here for the second time for Claves following a recording featuring flute duos and trios with Peter-Lukas Graf) and violist Gunter Teuffel. Xavier de Maistre is also in the process of preparing a third recording for next winter, arrangements of popular works for solo harp.

Xavier de Maistre de retour avec Gaby Pas-Van Riet et Gunter Teuffel
L'enfant prodige de la harpe est de retour chez Claves avec un album en trio dédié à la France. Titulaire au sein de la légendaire phalange des Wiener Philharmoniker, il partage la scène ici avec la flûtiste Gaby Pas-Van Riet (pour qui c'est également le deuxième disque chez Claves, après un opus consacré à des duos et trios avec Peter-Lukas Graf) et l'altiste Gunter Teuffel. Xavier de Maistre nous prépare en outre pour l'hiver prochain un troisième opus en solo, dédié à des arrangements de pièces populaires.

Das Wunderkind der Harfe ist zurück bei Claves, diesmal im Trio und mit einem Album, das Frankreich gewidmet ist. Xavier de Maistre, Musiker in den Reihen der legendären Wiener Philharmoniker, tritt hier mit der Flötistin Gaby Pas-Van Riet (die mit der vorliegenden CD ebenfalls zum zweiten Mal bei Claves ist, nach einer Auswahl von Duos und Trios mit Peter-Lukas Graf) und dem Bratschisten Gunter Teuffel auf. Er bereitet für Claves auf den nächsten Winter zudem ein drittes Werk vor, solo, mit Bearbeitungen von volkstümlichen Stücken.
