Villa-Lobos : Piano Music

We learned about her through her performances of Chopin’s music, the cherished composer from her native country. But it was Heitor Villa-Lobos that she decided to immortalize in her first recording for Claves Records. Joanna Brzezinska has a particular affinity for this unique Brazilian composer; her playing wonderfully conveys the sensuality, sweetness and brazen impetuosity of his music.
